Why You Should Own an iPhone
Whilst the Apple iPhone seems to be everywhere many people are fighting getting one because they don’t want to be giving into the hype, following the crowd. I know this to be the case because I was such a person. I was, past tense, not any more.
I am big enough to admit when I was wrong, and I was very wrong about the iPhone – it is a fantastic device that I now love… I would even go so far as to say it is my favourite gadget (and trust me, I have a lot). This is why I think you should stop trying to fight it and get an iPhone yourself.
My Change is Based On…
Flexibility. It is that simple, the iPhone is quite probably the most flexible gadget, never mind mobile phone, that I have ever owned. It can do a huge number of things thanks partly to the design of the phone and in the main because of third party applications I have downloaded.
If you were to ignore the branding a moment and think about what the iPhone can do – wouldn’t you want one? That’s what convinced me. Look at this list of what I used the iPhone for in the last week
Calling and texting. Well it is a phone!
Gaming – really some high quality video games on the iPhone
Web browsing. Mostly checking sports scores/facebook
Emailing
Find a restaurant
Checked on my other half’s flight times (on her way back from Scotland)
Listened to music
Posted on some forums
Arranged my diary. I am in demand, honest.
And much more besides. The fact is that the iPhone allows for masses to be done, from connecting to a company’s CRM database through to translating for you. Don’t let the hype get in your way – try an iPhone, it’s worth it.
